Ordering Procedures & Turnaround

Q: Additional Photo Facts

* All cards are printed on 100 or 110 lb. stationery stock, not glossy photo paper.

* There are variations in every monitor. When the cards print out they will be a bit darker than what is seen through your monitor because of the light that comes through on a computer screen. We will be sure your photo prints with optimal results.

* You should not compare the printed image on your card to a glossy image on photo paper. The color values and digital printing processes are very different. We take great pride in delivering high-quality cards and products. Ink lots, paper stocks and environmental conditions can alter the appearance of the colors.

Q: Can I convert my picture from color to black and white?

Yes!  You have the option to change your photo from color to black and white or sepia.

Q: Can I send you a photograph I want to use via mail or e-mail?

No, all photos must be uploaded to your card during the personalization step of customizing your card.

Q: How do I get the best results for the photograph I choose to be printed on my card?

Choose a clear, good quality photo.  Good lighting is important.

Q: How do I know if my photo is suitable for printing?

* Always send the original photo from your digital camera.

* Do not submit your photo as a link to an online photo service.

* Your image must be a high quality digital file at 300 DPI with a quality setting of 8 or higher. Our service will alert you if the photo is too small, so please follow the instructions if it asks you to upload a higher resolution photo.

* The digital photo size should be larger than the final printed size of your card to allow for cropping and placement.

Q: How do I make my photo fit on the card?

The orientation of a photo will affect the way a photo is cropped.  Your photo may meet the recommended resolution size, but it may not fit properly in the pre-set photo box of the card you choose.  Keep in mind that a vertical photo best fits a vertical photo box and a horizontal photo best fits a horizontal photo box.

Q: Will you edit my photo?

We are here to help.  Although no major changes will be made to your photo we will assure you that your photo will be reproduced in the best way possible. We will brighten and sharpen your photo, adjust color levels, remove red eye and adjust crops where necessary for optimal printing.
